🥋 Dan Grading Preparation Sessions

Are you a Green Belt or above and looking to improve, upgrade and update your current judo skills and knowledge?
These sessions are designed to support candidates in their journey toward Dan grading by developing technical skills, clarifying expectations, and building confidence.

✨ These sessions are free of charge and proudly provided by Judo Queensland.

🎯 The Aim of These Sessions Is To:

• Increase candidates’ confidence

• Increase candidate success rate

• Clearly outline specific grading expectations

• Provide on-the-spot feedback and advice for technical improvement

• Progressively examine candidates against the relevant grading criteria during the course

📚 What We’ll Cover

• Tachi-waza – Standing techniques

• Katame-waza – Grappling techniques

• Renraku-waza – Combinations and transitions

• Kaeshi-waza – Counters and tactical responses

📝 Additional Sessions

Optional specialised sessions are available for:

• Nage no Kata 

• Katame no Kata

• Technical Session

These are ideal for those preparing for kata demonstrations as part of their grading, or anyone wanting to refine and deepen their technical understanding.
