The Judo Qld Referee Committee is pleased to invite you for the first IJF New Rules Update Seminar.

To prepare QLD players, coaches, and referees for upcoming competitions, the Judo QLD Referee Commission has scheduled the following Rules Explanation Seminar:

• 14 Mar 2026 (Saturday): Shin Gi Tai Judo Club at 09:00 AM

We will be covering:

• Yuko Score
• Head Defense Clarification (plus head diving)
• Gripping under the belt
• Kumi Kata (conventional and not conventional)
• Bear Hug
• Valid areas and transitions
• Kansetsu Waza while in Tatchi Waza
• Reverse Seoi Nage
• Osaekomi clarifications (control and variations)

If you are unable to attend, please notify one of the commissioners or me to explain your reasons. (a live stream link will be provided)
